How long should my nail enhancement last?
Most of my clients get 3 weeks out of their enhancements. However this depends on how well you look after your nails! While I try to provide the most thorough prep nail enhancements can be easily effected by outside factors such as cleaning without gloves, prolonged times in water, using them as tools ect.
I offer a 1 week free repair guarantee. After a week, the cost will depend on the fault. Remember I can tell if you have picked your gels off  😉

How can I get the most out of my nail enhancements?
– They are jewels not tools! Please do not use them as an extension of your finger ie. using them to open a can!
-Do not pick them off! Get them removed at your appointment. Picking them off doesn’t only damage your nails it makes your next set not last as long!
-If your tech recommends a strengthening treatment or builder gel, do it! There is a reason these products exist, to keep your nails long and strong! I only recommend them when it is needed.
-Pe-book your appointments. Try and have your appointments on a three week rotation to avoid having your nails on to long. Having them on too long can damage your nail bed and plate and increases the likelihood of lifting which usually leads to people picking their nails! Pre-booking also ensures you don’t miss out when I am booked up.
-If you are washing dishes or cleaning with chemicals, natural or not, you have to wear gloves. Warm soapy water and gel nails do not like each other! This will cause premature lifting.
-If you love a good soak in a bath or pool, please try to keep your hands out of the water as much as you can. As stated above, it will cause lifting.
-Keeping your nails and hands hydrated will make the world of difference! Use moisturiser and cuticle oil as much as possible!

Why should you use cuticle oil twice a day?
Applying cuticle oil can increase the circulation around your nails, stimulating nail growth. It can also help to protect your nail and cuticle against trauma. The oil can also help improve the health and appearance of your nail. It keeps enhancements supple which reduces lifting and chipping.
You can purchase cuticle oil in my salon at your appointment.

What is IBX?
The IBX nail treatment is a toughening agent that penetrates and fuses the nail’s top layers to improve nail plate durability. The IBX system adds a protective shield INTO the nail plate to protect it from the removal process and to have it on natural nails.

What is Multi-flex Gel? (Builder gel) 
Multi-flex gel is described as “Flexible as gel but as strong as acrylic”. It is the perfect base for your nails and it an amazing tool to help your gain natural length with out snapping your nails! You can add this to your gel manicure as a strong foundation.
